Cambistat is a tree growth regulator with many arboricultural uses. Cambistat reduces shoot elongation by 40-60% over a three year period, which allows the tree to redirect energy from canopy growth to fine root development, defense chemicals, and storage. It is applied by basal drench or subsurface soil injection at the root collar.
